Harri Valpola

Artificial Intelligence

I'm the Chief Scientist and co-founder of System 2 AI Ltd (founded 2023). In the past, I have studied machine learning, theoretical neuroscience and artificial intelligence. I'm also a co-founder of ZenRobotics Ltd (2007) and the Curious AI Company (2015). Both companies commercialised the results of the research groups I have lead at Aalto University.

  I have been the managing director of Enespa, a company specialised in energy saving, and have been a member of the board of excecutives in a private wind power company Lumituuli (Finnish for Snow wind).
